Learn to Honour Your Needs and Practice Self Care

How often do you ask yourself the question “what do I want to do today?”


Not what do I need to do. Or what do I have to do.


But what do I WANT to do


So much of what we do each day is life admin or duties we do for others.


We’re so used to rushing from one task to another we don’t often stop and listen to our needs.


It’s one of the reasons many women feel stressed and burnt out.


One of my simple self care practices is to tune in to my inner goddess and ask her “what do I want to do today?

How to Honour Your Needs as an Earth Goddess

The answer is sometimes simple and can be granted straight away, I want to touch my toes in the sand, I want to buy myself flowers.


Other days it’s bigger, I want to spend time alone in nature, I want to rearrange my pantry (yes that’s a real desire!)


Whatever comes up I do my best to make it happen. This leaves me feeling nourished and full, with energy to spend on others.


So I encourage you today to ask yourself, What do I want to do?, and listen for the answer that arises, uncensored, unbidden. The voice that speaks to you from your heart
